Effective date: 2026-08-10. SoundBoard ("we", "us") operates this website at https://soundboardshop.com and its related embed surfaces (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
1. Information we collect. When you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) through Google's OAuth service, solely to identify your account and enable favorites and uploads. We also collect usage data such as the sounds you favorite or upload, your selected language, and technical data including browser type, device type, and approximate location derived from IP address.
2. How we use information. We use your information to operate and personalize the Service, to store your favorites and uploaded sounds, to analyze anonymous traffic via Google Analytics, and to display advertising through a third-party partner. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Cookies and local storage. We use browser local storage and cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language and favorites. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
4. Data retention and deletion. You may request access to or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
5. Third parties. We share the minimum data necessary with Google (for sign-in and analytics). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.
6. Children. The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
